This is English:

English and I met in high school our sophomore year when she moved to MN from KY. Junior year we were editors of the school newspaper together. Senior year she taught me how to drive a manual transmission. The July after graduation she left for the Air Force. Fall break of sophomore year of college I flew out to visit her in California. I've also seen her the 2 times she's come back to MN. But that's it. I miss her dearly.
We call and talk on the phone a little less frequent than monthly and we usually fill our conversations with laughing and crazy stories. When I went to visit her sophomore year of college we decided to go to San Francisco the day before my flight (I think it was an early flight) and try to find a motel. Well, we were 19 and you usually can't book a hotel unless you're 21. It was difficult but we found one. When we finally found one that would let us have a room the guy made me promise I wouldn't have a party... I held true to that promise.
I just got off the phone with English, and although I haven't called to break the news to my parents yet... I'M GOING TO CALIFORNIA TO VISIT ENGLISH AGAIN OVER FALL BREAK. I still have to look at tickets and everything but this means that the 2nd weekend of October I will be spending with English. This time she'll be in her own apartment instead of living on post so I'll get to stay with her :)
