Paying for internet

I don't care for it much. I wasn't finished with my post yesterday but my internet time was up and I was therefore forced to be finished.

Here is the rest of it:

Switzerland and the Franc. It makes things a bit difficult when you're only there for a very short time and it's not worth converting your money. Some of the stores accept Euros but give you change in Francs. This was more convenient because then we didn't have to pay a conversion fee and we got the francs in smaller amounts. However, the bad news is that the value of the franc is about equal to that of the dollar. Because some places accet both euros and francs they'll list their prices in both. We realized just how much money in dollars we were spending which is something we've tried not to think about these past months. Anybody care for a $14.50 sandwich?

On Monday morning we began our 8 hour trek to Salzburg. This train was actually quite enjoyable as there were no assigned seats and they had cabins of 6 seats each. We were selfish and took up a cabin to ourselves and spread our legs out. As selfish as I try not to be I could have cared less at that point. I just wanted an enjoyable train ride which is a hard thing to come by. We arrived in Salzburg last night and we love our hostel. This morning we watched the Sound of Music because Kendra and Leah had never seen it. Then we went on the Sound of Music Tour.. it was pretty good and fun to see the sites, but our tour guide struggled with her execution of jokes. Tomorrow we're planning to just walk around Salzburg to see some more of the sites before we head to Munich on Thursday! Off to finish booking hostels.
