Austrian Food

MMM MMM MMM

Yesterday after the S of M tour we stopped at a cafe where we enjoyed a delicious slice of warm apple streudel with vanilla ice cream. Then, today as Leah and I were exploring the city we entered in to a little restaurant off a cute little street and I ate veal stew with dumplings while Leah tried the wiener schnitzel. For some reason, all of our lives we had thought wiener schnitzel was sausage but we stand corrected. It's actually veal with a breadish coating and pan fried. It wasn't bad. After we licked our plates clean (not really... we struggled hard core with the last few bites and left the final droppings for the dishwasher) we decided that a shared piece of chocolate cake couldn't hurt.

Tomorrow we're heading across the border to Munich. Only a 1 hour and 45 minute train ride this time so hopefully we'll be able to maintain a bit more of our sanity.
