Ashley and I met freshman year at St. Ben's when I became friends with one of her roommates. However, it wasn't until the summer and fall of 2007 that we formed a much closer bond and now she'll be one of my roommates in our upcoming JUNIOR YEAR! Ashley easily has one of the most interesting lives of anyone I know and always has incredibly funny stories of her life's encounters to share with her friends. She was recently so bored at home that she decided to paint her room; urban outfitters green she calls it. She is also an avid crayola colorer and can shade like no other. Take it away Ashley:
Full name:
Miss Ashley Noelle Hudak
If you could be named anything else, what would you choose? (first, middle, last):
Fern for my first name, and I can't think of a middle name, and Hudak because I like it.
Major: Elementary Education
If the US was no more, where would you move to?
Probably somewhere in Europe.
If your voice were loud enough to speak to the world, what would you say?
1. War is not going to solve anything
2. Socks and sandals NEVER go together
Favorite crayola color:
This is like asking me who my favorite friend is...an extremely hard question to answer...it goes between melon and wisteria (light purple)
Favorite thing to do when you're alone:
Listen to music, sit on the computer, read, watch movies...especially seasons of tv shows
Describe the best pic you've ever colored:
S**tttttt. Probs the Little Mermaid one I did for my Dad last summer...I mean...when I was 9...
Why Urban Outfitters Green?
Ok, that color makes me sound like a crazy person. Its just the color I visualize when I go in there...and its on a lot of their products. Its like a fresh grass color meets 60s teal. It kicks ass and reminds me of a retro feel.
You get to make one playlist, with 10 songs, and it's the only thing you get to listen to for the next year. What songs are you going to put on it?
Good Lord thats difficult...I'll make a guess...
1) Train in Vain- The Clash
2) Across the Universe- The Beatles
3) Feels Like Rain- Buddy Guy
4) The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald- Gordon Lightfoot
5) Like A Rolling Stone- Bob Dylan
6) Purple Haze- Jimi Hendrix
7) Coconut Skins- Damien Rice
8) Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me- Elton John
9) Come As You Are- Nirvana
10) Blitzkrieg Bop- The Ramones
If you got to pick what age you died at, what would it be? (sorry for the morbidity) And how would you choose to go?
92, in my sleep please.
Something that will always brighten your day:
A new box of crayolas, ice cream, a new CD, and going somewhere and not having to wait in line.
By this time next year, what do you hope you have accomplished?
Have traveled somewhere, in some capacity.
Paper, plastic or green bag?
The bring-your-own canvas wonderful ones...if I forgot mine, then paper...if it's something small, no bag
Favorite aisle at the grocery store:
Laundry Detergent/Dryer Sheets.
Describe the perfect pair of sunglasses:
GIANT lenses, almost bug like. Bold colored frame. Wide bands.
And finally, if you could see the world through the eyes of anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose?
Martin Luther King Jr.
