First Day of Graduate School

First class of my career as graduate student: completed. Theories of Counseling. Good news is we have no tests and only 4 papers. Bad news? First one's due in 2 weeks: 10-15 pages. The one after that's due a month later: 15-20 pages. I've also received the syllabus of my morning class on Tuesday--Technique and Microskills in Counseling. Guess what's due in 2 weeks? a 10-15 page paper. Whoo HOO! I have a feeling I'll be starting one of them this weekend, probably the one for Theories. Which is where you, my few but cherished readers, come in to play. I don't care who you are and if I know you well or not (if at all!) This question's for you.

So here it is:
What are you ideals and assumptions about people and where did you acquire them?

Please, share any ideals or assumptions you have! You don't have to share anything specific, embarassing, personal, etc. and if you prefer to not post it under "comments" feel free to send it in an e-mail... arosehoff@gmail.com

This is the topic of my first paper, if you didn't guess already. I'm not asking for your answers as a way of cheating or making less work for myself. I have many of my own ideas already jotted down and I've put some decent thought into it, but I want help putting MORE thought into it. The reason I'm asking you is because I more want to know how you approach the question rather than what it is exactly you answer it with.

So, ready? GO!

P.S. Thank you :)

Hello!

I became a follower of your blog; I hope that's okay. I feel like we've reached that point in our friendship. ;)

Anyway, I wanted to tell you hello and that I am thinking about you! Also, your question is very thought-provoking, and I will get back to you soon with my musings. Also, I owe you an e-mail. Also, have you figured out that Madison zip code yet?

Much love, lady! Good luck with those papers! I'm so proud of you!
