A question seeking an answer

I would love to start uploading more pictures to my blog. The reason I don't upload many is because it seems to take sooo long. I have to choose each individual picture and then can only choose up to 5 per upload. Once I hit "upload" I have to wait a number of minutes for it to finish, then I have to rearrange them. If I go back in to upload more it enters a large number of spaces in between each picture. After I feel the post is ready I'll post it, go to view my blog and if I find a typo or something needing editing I go back to edit the post and again it'll add a lot of spaces between the pictures. Does anybody know.... Is there some way to make the photo uploading process any easier?
