Well, after another really long bus ride we arrived in Segovia around 8:30 last night. I got home and talked to my host mom for a while and then unpacked, put on some pj's, ate supper, and went to bed by 10:30. I remember being awoken to my host mom coming into my room and I freaked out thinking I was late waking up for class. To my surprise I was able to speak Spanish pretty automatically after being awoken from sleep, yay! She only came in to grab the alarm clock I borrowed the first few days before having a phone with an alarm on it. After she left I looked at my clock and it was 11:55 and still, a little confused, thought I was late for class. Then I saw the p.m. I immediately fell back into a deep sleep and slept straight through until my alarm at 9:30. What a great night's sleep it was! I had senior sem this morning and then had lunch, siesta, praticed some piano, and then came to our classroom for some internet time. I used skype video for the first time today to talk to my mom. Marita let me use her computer for the call, what a great friend!
My great day started when I got to talk to my mom over video. Then I got to see my dog. Next, I checked my facebook and got messages from my friends Mike and Patrick. Both made me laugh which we all know I love to do. As soon as I signed on to post a blog Kendra began a video conversation with MaryAlice and we both got some quality time with her. She makes me happy and I really love her! Now, I get to do some homework and so I think my great day ends here.
