¿yo hablo frances?

I don´t, but apparently I´m trying. We have the choice of auditing classes her at IE and some of us are taking beginner´s French. My first day of class was today even though it started last week. The professor speaks mainly in French but uses Spanish for clarification. I´ve never been so excited to speak Spanish or felt that I could actually speak Spanish well! I think I´ll keep going to the class and if I don´t learn any French, oh well, at least it´ll boost my self-confidence in terms of Spanish.

Life´s been good here. Sorry for the lack of posts lately. We went to Salamanca this weekend and I absolutely LOVED it! There´s a university there and so it´s a city full of youth and the night life is great. It was only supposed to be a day trip but the whole group minus 4 people decided to spend the night. It was so much fun! If anything I´m just glad I got to see the Plaza Mayor at night. Salamanca has one of the most beautiful Plaza Mayores in Spain and it´s even better at night. We got next to no sleep before taking the bus home at 8:30 Sunday morning. I slept a bit on the bus and then crashed as soon as I got home.

The weather here is finally becoming spring-like. I'm probably going to jinx myself by saying this but we haven't had rain for almost a week and just every day it's been a clear blue sky. I actually get warm walking around the city with my light fleece jacket on. ¡Qué fantástico!

Before I came on to blog I thought of so many things I wanted to say but now I've forgotten most of them. sorry folks but I guess that's all.
