Well, I'm am now in the set-up hotel in Zanesville, OH with my new crew...crew 3c. They picked me up from the Columbus airport last night and we all bonded over Dairy Queen. We had a good first day of set-up and are now taking some quiet time. The community is very excited about having us here and the camp has already received press time. We have youth groups coming for all over, including Japan! Even though I was in "heading home" gear less than a week ago I've switched back to camp mode pretty easily. With missing the beginning of the summer due to what my crewmates now refer to as "an organ bursting," I feel like the summer was pretty short so I'm looking forward to this camp.
If I weren't about to take a nap I'd put up some pictures, because I have plenty...but for now I just want you all to know I'm alive and in Ohio!
